Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using Fastiya. These Terms are a legal agreement between you and Studio Z Creative (“we,” “us,” “our”) governing your access to and use of the Fastiya app (the “Service”). By downloading, accessing, or using Fastiya, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Agreement to Terms
By creating an account, opening the app, or otherwise using Fastiya, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using Fastiya on behalf of someone else, you confirm that you have the authority to accept these Terms on their behalf.
2. Educational and Informational Purpose Only — Not Medical Advice
FASTIYA IS PROVIDED FOR EDUCATIONAL AND INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. IT IS NOT A MEDICAL DEVICE AND DOES NOT DIAGNOSE, TREAT, CURE, OR PREVENT ANY DISEASE OR MEDICAL CONDITION.
Fastiya provides fasting tracking, wellness insights, and educational content to help you learn about fasting and your body. Any scores, “body state,” “readiness,” or biological-age estimates shown in the app are wellness estimates only and are not medical diagnoses.
You should consult a qualified healthcare professional before beginning any fasting program, especially if you are pregnant or nursing, under 18, or managing a medical condition such as diabetes or a history of eating disorders. Do not disregard, delay, or discontinue medical treatment because of anything you read or see in Fastiya.
3. Description of the Service
Fastiya is a fasting timer and health-insights app for iPhone and Apple Watch. With your permission, it reads data from Apple Health to generate fasting readiness, sleep, and recovery insights. Fastiya also supports meal and food logging through manual entry, barcode scanning, and food photo analysis, and offers optional AI-assisted coaching.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Fastiya (or 16 in parts of the EU/UK, where local law sets a higher minimum age for use of online services without parental consent). By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
5. Auto-Renewable Subscriptions
Fastiya offers optional auto-renewable subscription plans under “Fastiya Pro”:
- Monthly plan — $9.99/month
- Annual plan — $79.99/year
- The annual plan includes a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. The free trial automatically converts to a paid annual subscription unless canceled at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, and the cost of the renewal will be identified at that time.
You can manage or cancel your subscription and turn off auto-renewal at any time in your Apple ID Account Settings, after purchase, at https://apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions.
No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during the active subscription period. Any unused portion of a free trial will be forfeited if you purchase a subscription during the trial.
Fastiya uses Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (EULA), available at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. By subscribing, you also agree to the terms of that EULA.
6. Your Data and Device
Our Privacy Policy explains what information Fastiya collects, including data read from Apple Health, and how it is used and shared. Please review it at fastiya.co/privacy-policy. Fastiya requires an iPhone, and optionally a paired Apple Watch, running a supported iOS/watchOS version.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service; not to resell, sublicense, or otherwise provide access to the Service to others; and not to misuse the AI coaching feature to generate harmful content or content intended to serve as a medical diagnosis or treatment plan.
8. Third-Party Services
Fastiya relies on Apple HealthKit and StoreKit, Firebase (authentication, analytics, and backend infrastructure), RevenueCat (subscription management), and public nutrition databases including USDA FoodData Central and Open Food Facts. Your use of Fastiya may also be subject to these providers’ own terms of service, where applicable.
9. Intellectual Property
Fastiya, including its content, features, and branding, is owned by Studio Z Creative and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the app for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THE ACCURACY OF ANY HEALTH OR WELLNESS INSIGHTS, THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT IT WILL BE FIT FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STUDIO Z CREATIVE’S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE, OR (B) US$100.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Service. We agree to indemnify and hold you harmless from claims arising from our gross negligence or willful misconduct, to the extent required by law.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. You may stop using the Service, and delete your account, at any time.
14. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. If you are a consumer located in the EU or UK, nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you under the laws of your country of residence.
15. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
